What information do we gather and how is it used?

InsuranceOnly provides you with insurance related tools and information to assist you in shopping for and obtaining insurance products. Many of the tools and information are available for your benefit without the need to disclose any personally identifiable information. If you decide to request an application for insurance, we require you to submit minimal personal information. We collect information that includes your name, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone numbers, and date of birth. The information we gather from your insurance application request is used to begin the application process. A representative from InsuranceOnly or a selected agent licensed in your state will contact you to complete your application by telephone so that additional information can be obtained. Your application will then be mailed to you for your review and signatures. In some instances, depending upon the insurance company you select, you may be able to complete your application entirely online. When your application information is provided to InsuranceOnly online, it is protected in the same way that all information provided to InsuranceOnly is protected. In addition, if you are applying for life insurance a representative from an insurance company examining service will contact you to schedule your medical exam. If you have any questions regarding how the insurance company you are applying with is using your personal information, you should contact that company directly

We may use the personal information that you supply to us and work with other third party businesses to bring selected retail opportunities to our members via direct mail, email and telemarketing. These businesses may include providers of direct marketing services and applications, including lookup and reference, data enhancement, suppression and validation and email marketing.

InsuranceOnly does not knowingly solicit data from children, and we do not knowingly market to children. If you request a quote for life insurance you have the option of providing your name, telephone number and email address.  If you provide your email address or telephone number you grant InsuranceOnly and the selected non-affiliated agent licensed in your state permission to email and call you regarding your quote. If you provide your telephone number you may receive a customer service phone call from InsuranceOnly or the selected agent regarding the quote.  If at anytime you choose not to receive phone calls from InsuranceOnly or the licensed agents with whom we work, you may call us at 866-INS-ONLY x 106 to be removed from the phone list. The agents with whom we work are also required to honor any do not contact requests you may make to them.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates.
